  • Official conference sponsor directories and event schedules
  • Direct company disclosures and verified product statements

2. Separation of Editorial and Commercial Relationships

TechCurrent was created by Akshat Kharbanda, founder of BizAmps, a B2B go-to-market consultancy. While BizAmps may have commercial advisory relationships with technology companies, these engagements never guarantee editorial coverage, inclusion in conference shortlists, or favorable placement.

Any sponsored placement or promotional partnership that may exist in the future will be clearly labeled as Sponsored Content.

3. Evaluation Criteria for Event Shortlists

When assembling curated shortlists for major conferences (such as Money20/20 USA), TechCurrent evaluates confirmed sponsors on four objective criteria:

  1. Relevance to Financial Services Buyers: Does the offering solve clear operational or infrastructure challenges?
  2. Product Differentiation: Does the platform offer distinct architectural or developer advantages?
  3. Market Presence: Does the company demonstrate real-world adoption and active deployment?
  4. Usefulness to Event Attendees: Is the company actively showcasing relevant solutions at the conference?
